JESSICA Sanchez will make a guest appearance during the Idol Philippines finale this weekend.
The Fil-Am singer, who became first runner-up in “American Idol”Season 11, arrived in Manila on July 25, 2019.
When asked how she feels about returning to the Philippines, Jessica replied: “It feels great to be back. I miss singing for the Filipinos and this is a special moment for me being in ‘Idol Philippines.’”
Jessica said that she has plans to release an EP soon.
“I’m finishing an EP. I’ve recorded 20 songs so far and I’m excited to release it all soon once it’s mixed.”
“I plan to come back in October for more shows and I hope to see everyone again. The Philippines has been and will always be my second home!”
She also said that aside from “Idol,” she will be having corporate shows during her visit.
There are five contestants competing in the grand finale of “Idol Philippines” this weekend.
They are: Lance Busa, Lucas Garcia, Dan Ombao, Zephanie Dimaranan, and Miguel Odron.
Jessica’s advice for the contestants: “Just do your best, be proud. Having to reach the finals is a gift and privilege. You will always remember that moment for the rest of your life!” (Pep.ph)
