Jessy Mendiola revealed the reason why she cut her hair short. In a new vlog she uploaded on her YouTube channel, the actress shared that she chose to have a bob cut because she usually spends her time at the beach and does scuba diving.
“Mahilig ako mag-scuba dive, mahilig sa beach, mahilig aboard, ‘yan ginagawa namin mga scuba divers, ‘yan sa beach, nasa boat ka lang nakatira and siyempre prone to damage ang hair kasi dive ka ngayon tapos wash ka ulit, tapos salt water na naman. Kumbaga mada-dry talaga ang hair mo so ang ginawa ko nagpagupit talaga ako ng super iksi kasi ayaw ko na ma-bother sa kung ano pa gagawin ko sa hair ko,” she said.
The actress has words of advice as well for people who would like to cut their hair short.
“Mabibigay ko na advice sa may gusto ng short hair, tignan niyo muna ‘yung lifetyle niyo, tulad ko mahilig mag-scuba dive,” she said.
Jessy added, “Dapat kung ano ang bagay din sa buhay mo.”
