ILOILO City – A resident of Barangay Ermita, Dumangas, Iloilo shot himself.
From what police investigators have gathered, he was devastated that his lover from La Union province jilted him.
The 29-year-old JR Namia died of a gunshot wound on the body.
He shot himself using a .22 revolver inside his bedroom at around 5 p.m. on Oct. 25, a police report stated.
Namia had a drink with his brother before heading to his bedroom, police said, citing investigation.
He got mad when his lover, who was on vacation in Dumangas, went home to La Union, leaving him behind, investigators learned from witnesses./PN
