JODI Sta. Maria’s latest endeavor? Enrolling in a culinary school.
The actress — who has been busy filming for her upcoming series “Unbreak My Heart” — is now taking up a Certificate Program in Cooking and Baking Skills at the Center for Asian Culinary Studies (CACS) in Manila.
Jodi shared on Instagram photos of the dishes she prepared during her first week in culinary school, including fillet mignon, paella, risotto, and baby back ribs. She also shared “a proud moment” as a culinary student after learning how to make mayonnaise from scratch.
“A lifelong student. [I] started my week unlocking and learning new skills,” Jodi captioned the photos.
“Excited for another full week ahead with CACS. The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it from you,” she added.
Fans and friends of Jodi, including Judy Ann Santos and Iwa Moto, expressed their support for the actress in the comments section of her post.
“Nice one love!!!” Judy Ann, who herself is a culinary graduate, said.
“Ehem. Pakain naman,” Iwa teased.
The 40-year-old Kapamilya star is a psychology graduate. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the Southville International School and Colleges back in 2021.
The actress is set to star in “Unbreak My Heart,” the first co-production venture of network giants GMA Network and ABS-CBN Corporation in partnership with streaming platform Viu. Joining her in the historic series are Kapamilya actor Joshua Garcia and GMA-7 stars Richard Yap and Gabbi Garcia.
Cameras started rolling for “Unbreak My Heart” in February. After a month of filming scenes in Switzerland, Jodi went on a much-needed vacation with her son Thirdy and their family in Coron, Palawan.
Emmanuel Palo and Dolly Dulu are co-directing “Unbreak My Heart.” (PUSH)
