KAPAMILYA actress Jodi Sta. Maria couldn’t help but feel emotional as she congratulated her son, Thirdy, who recently completed his high school studies.
The celebrity mom shared glimpses of her son’s commencement exercises and their celebration afterward in her latest Instagram post.
Thirdy finished his high school studies in De La Salle Santiago Zobel in Alabang, Muntinlupa City.
The 40-year-old actress said she couldn’t believe how time flew so fast for the both of them as she recalled how she was only carrying her son in her arms back then.
“I closed my eyes for a moment and suddenly a man stood where a baby I carried in my arms used to be,” she wrote.
Jodi expressed how she and her ex-husband, Pampi Lacson, are equally proud of the man their son has become over the years.
In one of the photos she shared in her post, she and Pampi can be seen posing for a photo with their son.
“You have given us so many reasons to be proud of the man you have become, but the proudest moment for me is telling the whole world that you are my son,” she continued.
The Kapamilya actress went on to pen a heartfelt message for her son as she expressed how loved he is by everyone around them.
“Congratulations, anak! Dream big. Soar high. We will always be here cheering for you. May our good Lord continue to bless you, keep you, and make His face shine on you. You are loved, anak,” she said.
Meanwhile, actress Iwa Moto, Thirdy’s stepmother, also shared how proud she is of his accomplishment.
“May college na kami. hahahha. Congratulations @iam.thrds. ang bilis sobra. we love you so much (sic),” she wrote in a separate post.
Celebrity friends such as Sunshine Cruz, Nikki Valdez and Raymart Santiago, among others, congratulated Thirdy in the comments section. Sunshine’s daughter, Sam, was Thirdy’s batchmate in high school. (PUSH)
