ON SUNDAY, Jollibee hosted the first National Jolly Kids’ Day, which was a one-day event packed with activities for kids of all ages.
In the morning, curious kids gathered at the entrance of the Jollitown themed park at SM Southpoint wondering what Jollibee has prepared for them. The sweltering heat of the 10-a.m. sun could not keep them away from the fun because this was a day organized for all children to enjoy with their mom, dad, manong, and manang for free – no admission fees.
The kids were taught how to dance to the “I love you Jollibee” song, they got to participate in on-stage games and to meet Jollibee and Jollitown friends Popo, Twirlie, Yum, and Hetty.
Jollibee had also set up inflatable bouncers, balloon twisting activity, photobooth, face painting, raffle, and more.
In the afternoon, everyone was treated with dance performances from Dinagyang dancers and the kids from St. Robert’s International Academy.
Trade Marketing officer of Jollibee Visayas Leah Marie Sausa explained that the National Jolly Kids’ Day was a system-wide activity with the main event staged at SMX Convention Center in Manila.
The event is in line with the celebration of the National Children’s Month this November.
“Jollibee continues to strive to be a part of every Filipino kid’s childhood,” she said.
She added that in Jollibee “we are doing our best to give fun activities to every Filipino kid. For us, the happiness of a child brings joy to the whole family.”/PN
