JORDAN, Guimaras – Accused of rape with sexual assault, this town’s most wanted person has been arrested.
The 19-year-old Colleen James Alavez of Sitio Bliss, Barangay San Miguel here was served with an arrest warrant on April 20 by operatives of the Guimaras Police Provincial Office’s Special Operation Group and the Jordan police station.
Regional Trial Court Presiding Judge Rosario Abigail Magay Dris-Villanueva of Branch 65 issued the arrest warrant on April 19.
The complainant was a minor. Twice she was raped (September and October 2020) at the back of her grandmother’s house, her complaint stated.
The bail bond recommended for sexual assault was fixed at P200,000 while no bail was recommended for the crime of rape.
The suspect was taken to the Jordan police station./PN
