JOSHUA Garcia is focused on achieving all his goals now that he’s 21.
In an exclusive interview, the Kapamilya actor said his family is his biggest inspiration in working harder and reaching for his dreams.
As for his career, Joshua said he still has a lot to achieve as an actor.
“Kada ginagawa kong show, pelikula, kahit ano pa iyang trabaho, may goal ako.”
The ABS-CBN actor had a belated birthday celebration with his fans from the Tropang Joshua fan club last Sunday, Nov. 4, at Fernwood Gardens in Quezon City.
Joshua said one of his dreams is to set up a restaurant in Manila, which serves Batangueño specialties.
He told PEP.ph, “Gusto sa pagluluto. Gusto ko Batangas Special na wala dito [sa Manila].”
Joshua said he inherited his passion for food and cooking from his father Geo Garcia, “Kasi yung papa ko yung magaling dun, e.”
This, along with his other interests, makes the Ngayon At Kailanman star go back to school and continue his studies in the future.
“Pagka nakatagal-tagal gusto kong bumalik sa pag-aaral, kapag hindi na busy, ganyan…Marami akong gustong pag-aralan, gusto ko mag-aral ng photography, ng pagluluto,” he said.
At the moment, Joshua said buying a new house for his parents is his top priority.
“Bahay muna ako, kailangan ng matitirhan…Actually, gawa na siya, bibilhin na lang. Sa may QC. Dito kasi, nandito yung trabaho ko e,” the actor added.
The Star Magic talent said he already started saving up for the house.
When asked how he saves his money, Joshua told PEP.ph, “Dapat tipid ka, kung halimbawa sa taping, may taping food naman so hindi mo na kailangan bumili ng pagkain sa labas.” (Pep.ph)
