JUDY Ann Santos reacts to the latest chapter of the long-standing Barretto family feud.
The ABS-CBN actress requests showbiz fans to give the family respect and privacy and to keep their opinions on the matter to themselves.
“My stand on it, it’s a very private matter. It’s family, it’s personal. Whatever I, we, they say about the issue, nakakadagdag lang siya sa effect. Kumbaga, makakasira lang siya or makakalala lang siya lalo ng sitwasyon,” she said after a lifestyle event in Taguig on Oct. 23.
“I think it’s something that, kung gusto natin sumuporta sa kanila, we have to let them be and keep quiet and keep our opinions to ourselves. Even if there is social media, there is a point wherein you have to draw the line as a follower. Iyong opinions mo, basher ka man o hindi, iisipin mo na lang, gusto mo bang may magsabi nun sa iyo pag nandiyan ka sa sitwasyon na iyan?” she added.
Judy Ann, who is friends with the Barretto family, keeps her hope up that the family will be able to settle the feud once the public gives them enough space, respect and privacy.
The “Starla” actress continued, “Ako, I pray at some point that, you know, we give them space. We give them the respect and privacy because it’s family problem. It’s a family matter and we really don’t know naman kung ano talaga pinag-ugatan. (Push)
