JULIA Montes was among the graduates of “Goin’ Bulilit” who paid tribute to the kiddie gag show following the announcement of its final episode.
Montes, 24, took to Instagram to express her gratitude to the program, which will conclude its 14-year run in August.
Posting a photo of her batch of cast members, Montes wrote: “Samahang hindi mo makakalimutan.
Ang unang pamilyang tumanggap kay ‘Mara’ on and off cam.
Montes, whose real name is Mara Schnittka, was referring to “Goin’ Bulilit” director Edgar Mortiz, who has helped rear the careers of child stars like her.
Following her “graduation” from the Sunday gag show, Montes successfully transitioned as a teen star, notably with the drama series “Mara Clara,” before clinching successive teleserye lead roles.
Montes’ fellow “Goin’ Bulilit” alumni include Kathryn Bernardo, Miles Ocampo, Jane Oineza, Kiray Celis, Sharlene San Pedro, and Nash Aguas. (ABS-CBN News)
