STRONG and defiant words coming from Philippine Amusement and Games Corp. or PAGCOR chair Andrea Domingo in her keynote speech at the ASEAN Gaming Summit 2017 held in Manila on Tuesday, March 21. She was, of course, referring to that now infamous six-minute video done by Vice President Leni Robredo for the United Nations Drugs Summit. Of course, we all know what Leni Robredo said – or read to be precise – about in that video.

Why I say “strong and defiant” because PAGCOR chair Andrea Domingo is a government official and technically Vice President Leni Robredo is her boss.

You have to admire her conviction and courage to say that in an international forum against the second highest official in the Philippines.

Why, in Iloilo City out of the 12 elected councilors only two will dare speak out against Mayor Jed Patrick Mabilog the rest will just smile and say yes to whatever the former World Mayor No. 5 Jed Mabilog wishes.

So yes, PAGCOR chair Andrea Domingo has balls, “black balls “indeed. While the 10 councilors in Iloilo City have “white balls” or as we say it in Ilonggo, puti itlog.

So now back to that keynote speech, here’s some excerpts:

“During your stay here… [in] the Philippines, did you see any dead bodies lying around? Did you see any policemen, with guns out, chasing after suspects, trying to kill them? Have you read…reports of people being tortured, being arrested without warrants? Have you seen women and children being separated from men and the men being taken without any (search) warrants?

“Have you? If you haven’t, then please do not believe Leni Robredo…I really view her as a female creature who wants to be president so bad and so fast, she’ll do anything. Go there under any manner or circumstance except go through the legal electoral process that President Rody Duterte went through.”

One thing that keeps coming back to mind is the figures they used in that video and all their anti-Duterte statements, they keep on saying that there are 7,000 casualties or dead bodies since President Rodrigo Duterte started the war against illegal drugs. In the wake of super typhoon “Haiyan” or “Yolanda” there were officially 6,000 dead people and if you have been to Tacloban during the aftermath of the typhoon you will literally see dead bodies all over the city. In fact, months after due to the incompetence of Mar Roxas and Noynoy Aquino, you will still see rotting corpses all over Tacloban. Remember folks, that’s 6,000 dead people according to official government figures, 1,000 less dead bodies than 7,000.

Now imagine 7,000 dead people as, according to Leni Robredo, were killed in the war on drugs. Do you see corpses in the streets, it’s been at least seven months since the war on drugs started. Do you see rotten corpses in the streets?

Of course, you won’t because the 7,000 dead people is a figure that Rappler came out with. Where they got those figures beats the hell out most people, including moi.

“I see dead people” – a line from that horror thriller film The Sixth Sense – is probably what’s happening to Maria Ressa and the rest of her motley crew at Rappler. One more thing, if indeed there are 7,000 corpses lying around because of President Duterte’s war against drugs, then all the funeral parlors are filled to the brim and there is a high demand for body bags. I don’t see that happening, do you?

So what to do with a Vice President who not only betrayed her country and people but committed economic sabotage by painting the image of the Philippines as worse than Somalia? Elementary, my dear Watson, IMPEACH HER!

Well, that is unless the recount of ballots will show that Leni Robredo indeed cheated her ass into the vice presidency then the impeachment becomes moot and academic.

If she is, indeed, impeached before the ballots recount then who takes over as Vice President? According to Section 9 of the 1987 Constitution:

“Whenever there is a vacancy in the Office of the Vice President during the term for which he was elected, the President shall nominate a Vice President from among the members of the Senate and the House of Representatives who shall assume office upon confirmation by a majority vote of all the members of both Houses of the Congress, voting separately.”

I recommend the Representative of the 2nd District of Pampanga, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo as Vice President. I don’t think you can find anybody more qualified other than former President Joseph Estrada, sadly he’s a mayor so he’s out.

Imagine former President Gloria Arroyo as Vice President; that’s a big middle finger and “up yours” to Noynoy Aquino, Leila de Lima and Mar Roxas, including Franklin Drilon. And should that happen, it would give great satisfaction to a lot people, including moi not because I’m “in love” with Gloria Arroyo” but just making these people pee in their drawers is good enough for me, so there!
