Korean Pop enthusiasts from the island of Negros and Panay gathered together from Feb. 23 to 25 to celebrate this year’s K-Pop Festival at City Time Square-Iloilo, one of the city’s newest lifestyle hub and a premier entertainment destination.
The event kicked off with a three-day bazaar showcasing different Korean merchandise, culminating in an awards night where the best performing groups for the dance cover competition were recognized.
Ten young and talented groups from Bacolod and Iloilo City mesmerized the crowd with their K-Pop moves on the second day. The cover groups were: Xelestial Unity, Urfriend, Revellite, IKN, CB2L, Cassiopeias, BTG, 4ACES, ASD, and Black Cats.
Among the awesome performances, BTG dance cover group stood out and was hailed as the grand winner. They also won the City Time Square and People’s Choice Award while Urfriend group received the Social Media Choice award.
The event was a collaboration between Skyway Productions, One Entertainment, and City Time Square-Iloilo and was also made possible through the kindness and support of Vivo, Grab Taxi, Pepsi Cola, and Panay News – as one of the major sponsors./PN
