BACOLOD City – At least 23 Badjaos in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental were sent back to Zamboanga City on Sunday, Nov. 12.

The repatriation was facilitated by the Kabankalan City Social Welfare and Development Office (CSWDO) and the Kabankalan City Police Station.

Atty. Mac Lord Zafra, City Administrator, said the initiative not only demonstrated the commitment of the city government to address the needs of marginalized communities but also highlighted “the dedication of its leaders in fostering inclusivity and social welfare.”
