BACOLOD City – He was listed as the No. 8 most wanted person in the police station of Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 43-year-old Rene Magbanua was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant for frustrated murder in Barangay Salong, Kabankalan City around 11:20 a.m. on Sept. 2, a police report showed.
Police officers served the warrant issued by Judge Rodney Magbanua of the Regional Trial Court Branch 61 in Kabankalan City dated April 10, 2019.
Rene was detained in the lockup cell of the Kabankalan City police station.
The court recommended a bail bond worth P200,000 for his temporary liberty./PN
