BACOLOD City – A 35-year-old man was allegedly hacked to death by his brother in Barangay Tampalon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
Killed was resident Joven Suan. He sustained hack wounds on the neck and back, a police report showed.
Tagged suspect was his younger brother Jolan, 25.
According to police investigators, Joven and Jolan had a heated argument around 1:30 a.m. on July 18.
This prompted Jolan to hack Joven using a bolo.
Joven was rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in the city where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
The suspect was detained in the lockup facility of the Kabankalan City police station, facing charges./PN
