BACOLOD City – He fell from a coconut tree and died, a police report showed.
The 52-year-old Ramonito Ladios of Barangay Tan-awan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental fractured both his legs, the report further stated.
He had a head injury, too, police said.
Ladios was rushed to the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan City where attending physician Dr. Irene Benares pronounced him “dead on arrival.”
Witness Teodorico Mirano told the police that Ladios climbed the tree in Barangay Tan-awan to get some lambanog then slipped.
Mirano sought help from the barangay hall after.
