BACOLOD City – Eight sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a man in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The suspected illegal drugs valued at around P10,000 were seized from the 48-year-old resident Harold Javellana, a police report showed.
Javellana was caught after he sold a sachet of suspected shabu to an undercover officer around 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
Aside from the suspected shabu, cash worth P3,965 believed to be proceeds from illegal drug transactions was also confiscated from Javellana.
He was detained in the lockup facility of the Kabankalan City police station, facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
