BACOLOD City – A shooting suspect had been arrested in Barangay Orong, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental.
The 45-year-old resident Romulo Valendes allegedly shot another resident the police identified as Michael Mi-ot who was currently undergoing treatment at the Lorenzo D. Zayco District Hospital in Kabankalan.
Sunday’s shooting stemmed from an altercation between Velendes and Mi-ot, investigators said.
Mi-ot was shot on the right eye, they added.
Valendes was detained in the lockup cell of the Kabankalan City police station/PN
