GMA’s homegrown talent Katrina Halili says she enjoys playing kontrabida roles in various drama series.
She added that she is happy with every project given to her.
However, she noted that she also wants to do something different from what has already done.
“Nag-e-enjoy naman ako sa mga characters na binibigay nila sa akin pero syempre gusto ko pa din na makagawa naman ako ng iba, something different sa ginagawa ko,” said Katrina.
The actress is currently one of the main casts of GMA’s Afternoon Prime drama series “The Stepdaughters.” As usual, she plays as an antagonist.
The other main characters are Miss World 2013 Megan Young and her real-life boyfriend, GMA’s prime leading man Mikael Daez.
Just recently, The Stepdaugthers’ main casts were brought by GMA Regional TV to Iloilo for a mall show in newly-opened Robinsons Place Pavia in Pavia, Iloilo.
According to Katrina, she is very happy especially when she is guesting in other shows like “Magpakailanman.”
“Natutuwa nga ako pag nag gi-guesting ako like sa Magpakailanman kasi meron akong nagagawang iba hindi yung puro nalang maldita yung nakikita,”said Katrina.
She added that she is also hoping more projects with GMA.
Asked about her love life, Katrina said it is “zero” right now. The actress is focusing on her career and family, she reasoned out.
But if ever the “right guy” comes, Katrina said she is ready to open her heart again.
Katrina has a daughter with singer Cris Lawrence. The two were a couple for five years before they decided to go separate ways in 2014./PN
