KC CONCEPCION expressed her excitement about the upcoming reunion concert of her parents Sharon Cuneta and Gabby Concepcion.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, the actress said that she is elated to see them on one stage again.
“Sobrang happy ko to be back in Manila for this very special reunion concert! I can feel that a lot of Filipinos around the world, together with me, would be so happy to witness this experience of seeing my Papa and Mama together on stage,” she remarked.
KC added: “Kung excited kayo, eh di lalo naman ako! Kaya sama-sama na tayo!”
On Aug. 9, Sharon and Gabby confirmed they will be headlining a concert titled “Dear Heart.” Both stars posted the poster of the concert on their respective social media pages.
Meanwhile, in a statement he sent to Boy Abunda, Gabby said that the concert is their gift to their supporters.
“It’s going to be a celebration of our team up. This is our gift to all our fans who have stayed with us and who continue to love us all these years. Sharon and I hope to see all of you there,” Gabby said.
Sharon and Gabby teamed up for the first time in 1981 in the movie titled “Dear Heart.”
Three years later, they tied the knot. Sharon gave birth to KC one year after their marriage. Their marriage was annulled in 1987. (PUSH)
