KC CONCEPCION took to social media to warn her followers about fake accounts pretending to be her and privately messaging her fans.
In an Instagram post on Wednesday, March 1, the actress and jewelry designer asked her fans to beware of posers and urged them not to engage in conversation with unofficial or fake accounts purporting to be her.
“Hi loves! I hear there are impostors going around pretending to be me, via ‘private’ SOCIAL MEDIA / email / phone accounts. THAT IS NOT ME, reaching out to fans and followers on social media ‘IN PRIVATE’ via unofficial accounts,” she said.
“Please do not engage in conversation with any posers or those pretending to be me. There is only one!!!” she added.
She also reminded her followers to refrain from giving out personal information to unverified or non-official KC Concepcion accounts.
“I will personally announce and let you know when we come up with NEW handles for you to enjoy. For now, stay vigilant and especially be careful not to provide personal information to non-official KC accounts / handles! Love you all!” she said.
Currently, KC has over four million followers on her verified Instagram account.
The actress is in the Philippines now and recently spent quality time with her father Gabby Concepcion at his summer home in Lobo, Batangas. KC, 37, has been sharing glimpses of her “island life” on social media, while stressing how grateful she is to finally be home after months of traveling abroad for work and personal reasons.
KC recently made headlines after she seemed to hint at a possible new romance through her post on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14. The actress posted on Instagram a clip of herself walking around in a foreign country with a man whose identity she’s chosen to keep private.
However, multiple outlets have since identified her rumored boyfriend as Steve Michael Wuethrich, a Swiss-Filipino banker based in Zurich, Switzerland. He and KC are believed to have been dating since early this year and have reportedly been spotted several times here in the Philippines and in Switzerland.
As of this writing, KC has yet to open up about her love life and confirm being in a new relationship. (PUSH)
