ILOILO City – Families of dead victims of super typhoon “Yolanda” in November 2013 in Iloilo province will finally get financial assistance on Monday.
The provincial government has registered a total of 117 “Yolanda” casualties.
So far, however, only around 80 family beneficiaries have complied with the needed requirements, according to Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) chief, Dr. Neneth Pador.
“Those who complied with the requirements will each get financial aid in the amount of P10,000,” Pador said.
Pador called on other beneficiaries to submit the needed requirements so that they can be processed and the aid will also be released to them on the second batch.
Among the requirements needed are death certificate, certificate of residency, case study and police blotter.
Pador emphasized that pertinent documents for death claims were verified thoroughly./PN
