KRIS Aquino is back in the Philippines!

Kris’ official fan account on X (formerly Twitter) shared fashion designer and friend Michael Leyva’s Instagram Story uploaded Friday, which showed an airport view from the inside of a plane.

“Touched down… hello Manila,” the tweet’s caption said.

“Thank God for your safe flight. Welcome back to the Philippines. Hope you’ll get well and be healed,” a user replied.

Michael’s Instagram Story also had the caption, “I’m so back,” as well as a timestamp at 5:03 a.m.

Kris first announced on Thursday, September 12, that she is coming home to start her second immunosuppressant infusion.

“Emotionally I need the encouragement and unwavering faith my sisters and cousins, closest friends, and trusted team of doctors can provide,” she said. “Sadly what was the battle to improve my mental health is now the struggle to protect my vital organs. This is now the fight of my life.”

She also gave the public an update on her health, listing her six confirmed autoimmune conditions. She is suffering from autoimmune thyroiditis, chronic spontaneous urticaria, Churg Strauss, systemic sclerosis, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis.

Kris said that she is waiting for the results of two more autoimmune conditions.

Her son, Bimby, and her nurses came home with her, while her eldest son, Josh, is staying in the US for a few more weeks.

Back in June, Kris confirmed that she has a boyfriend, who is a doctor based in Makati City.

“He’s part of the reason why I’m confident na puwede akong umuwi kasi alam ko there’s someone who will help in taking care of me,” she said.

Earlier this year, Kris guested on “Fast Talk With Boy Abunda” via video conferencing, vowing to stay strong as she continues to battle her illnesses. (GMA Integrated News)
