KRIS Aquino, who has been vocal about her recent health issues, shared on Instagram that she has been diagnosed with Chronic Spontaneous Urticaria, an autoimmune disease which will make Kris dependent on high dosage antihistamines and “having the EpiPen will always be crucial.”
Kris then said that she was alarmed because in just a month, she lost 15 pounds and the same thing happened to her late mother Corazon “Cory” Aquino before getting diagnosed with colon cancer. While waiting for the results, they also got worried that it might be lupus. Kris’ youngest son Bimby also cried and even offered her his kidneys.
“To be specific, we were afraid it was lupus. Kuya was anxious & confused. Bimb knew Selena’s journey. It was heartbreaking to see my 11-year-old crying inconsolable tears and pleading, ‘please don’t leave me mama.’ Bimb even offered me his kidney. Ang pera magsipag ako, kikitain ulit. PERO HINDI PO MABIBILI ANG EXTENSION SA BUHAY,” she wrote.
Kris then thanked everyone who prayed for her and said that everyone knew about her maintenance for hypertension since 2015 and still has treatments for her severe migraines.
“My prayer is simple, to raise my youngest son to become a responsible adult who’ll care for his kuya, then God already blessed me more than I deserve,” she added. (Push)
