BACOLOD City – A court aide listed as the No. 9 most wanted street-level drug target in the police station of La Carlota City, Negros Occidental was arrested Friday.
The 54-year-old Ernie Sofio Tingson Sr. was caught around 8:30 a.m. in Purok Katilingban, Barangay 2, La Carlota City, a police report showed.
Police nabbed Tingson, who works at the Municipal Trial Court in Cities in La Carlota, after they found 0.0833 grams of suspected shabu in his house.
The police conducted the search on the strength of a warrant that Judge Cyclamen Jison-Fernandez of the Regional Trial Court Branch 63 in La Carlota City issued on Aug. 20.
Tingson was detained at the La Carlota City police station lockup facility.
He was facing charges for violation of sections 11 and 15 of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
