BACOLOD City – Four men were facing charges for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
The 22-year-old Jay-R Ariete, 34-year-old Dioscoro Piscano, 25-year-old John Wilson Lantisa, and 29-year-old Julius Gonzales were arrested around 10:20 p.m. on Friday in a drug buy-bust operation in Barangay Batuan, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
They were all laborers and residents of the village, police said.
Recovered from them were five sachets of suspected shabu, drug paraphernalia and P300 marked money.
The four, detained at the lockup cell of the La Carlota police station lockup facility, were charged with violation of sections 5, 11, 12, and 15 of RA 9165./PN
