BACOLOD City – Two sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from a man at Uriarte Subdivision in Barangay 3, La Carlota City, Negros Occidental.
The 34-year-old Lino “Chong” Cadigal of La Carlota City was arrested after he sold one sachet of the suspected drugs to an undercover officer for P300 around 1:50 p.m. on Oct. 12, a police report showed.
Aside from the suspected shabu, the police also confiscated Cadigal’s mobile phone.
Cadigal was detained in the La Carlota City police station custodial facility.
He was facing charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
