BACOLOD City – Alias “Arabia,” the No. 3 most wanted person in La Carlota City, Negros Occidental, was recently collared by police authorities.
The Tracker Team of La Carlota City Component Police Station, with the Regional Intelligence Unit 6, Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office-Provincial Intelligence Unit, and the 2nd Negros Occidental Provincial Mobile Force Company, carried out the apprehension on the city’s Bliss Street, Barangay 1, Poblacion, at 9:33 a.m. on Dec. 21.
Arrest warrants against Arabia for violations of Republic Act (RA) 11930, or Illegal Recruitment, and RA 7610, or Special Protection of Children against Child Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination, were issued on Dec. 18, 2023, by the Hon. Cyclamen Jison Fernandez, of the Regional Trial Court, Branch 63.
A P200,000 bail was recommended for the arrested person’s temporary liberty./PN
