BACOLOD City – A 46-year-old man landed in a hospital after unidentified suspects shot him in Barangay Puso, La Castellana, Negros Occidental.
Resident Jose Charlie Canja sustained gunshot wounds on the body, a police report showed.
He received medical treatment at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City, it added.
According to police investigators, Canja was on his way to his uncle’s house when two gunmen shot him using an unidentified caliber firearm on June 6.
Officers of the La Castellana municipal police station have yet to identify the suspects and the motive in the incident./PN
