ILOILO City – A drinking spree turned out to be the last for a man after he was stabbed to death by a drinking buddy in Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district.
Residents Gelcor Malungayo and Steven Antiquiña were on a drinking spree around 2:15 p.m. on Sept. 29 when a heated argument ensued, police said.
This prompted Antiquiña to stab Malungayo several times using a bladed weapon. Malungayo died on the spot.
It was not immediately established what triggered the argument.
Antiquiña, on the other hand, was arrested and detained in the lockup cell of the La Paz police station./PN
