ILOILO City – A drug surrenderer stabbed a driver in Barangay Tabuc Suba, La Paz district.
Suspect Henry Pamucol surrendered to the police following the May 7 stabbing.
The victim, 38-year-old Rocnie Dohina, died of stab wounds on the neck and left side at the Iloilo Mission Hospital.
The stabbing happened around 12:50 a.m., according to Senior Inspector Rey Sumagaysay, La Paz police chief. Pamucol was noisy and neighbor Pamucol, who was awakened by the noise, went out of his house and chided the suspect.
“Pamucol was a drug surrenderee last year. He was a drug user,” said Sumagaysay.
Pamucol faces a murder charge.
Dohina was a driver in a private company./PN
