ILOILO City – A “street level” drug suspect was arrested in Barangay Burgos, La Paz district.
Five sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from 22-year-old Christian Menchavez, a resident of Barangay Baldoza, La Paz.
Around 4:15 p.m. on Oct. 1 he sold a sachet of the prohibited substance to an undercover cop for P2,100, a police report showed.
Menchavez was detained in the lockup cell of the La Paz police station. Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 would be filed against him./PN
