ILOILO City – A man from La Paz district was arrested for allegedly stealing apples from a fruit stand on Iznart Street, City Proper.
The 28-year-old Michael Adorio of Barangay Ingore, La Paz was detained in the lockup cell of the Iloilo City Police Office’s Station 1, a police report showed.
The incident happened on Tuesday at the fruit stand of the 60-year-old Eduardo Edjan, a resident of Barangay Tagbac, Jaro district.
Edjan told the police Adorio grabbed two apples without paying for them.
The vendor confronted the latter, who then ran away but was eventually arrested, stated the police report./PN
