ILOILO City – A 24-year-old resident was stabbed in Barangay Ingore, La Paz district.
Jason Adorio sustained wounds to the chest and knee, police said.
A suspect has been named – Renato Baniola, 22, also a resident of the village.
The stabbing happened around 9 p.m. on June 6.
According to the police, Adorio was outside their house when Baniola arrived looking for a certain “Binok”.
When Adorio told Baniola he had not seen “Binok”, the latter allegedly just attacked him.
The victim was taken to the West Visayas State University Medical Center.
The suspect, meanwhile, was detained at the police station. Frustrated murder charges would be filed against him./PN
