ILOILO City – A woman from La Paz district was accused of shoplifting at a convenience store in Jaro, a police report showed.
The 39-year-old Mary Ann Gamboa of Barangay La Granja, La Paz allegedly stole more than P1,000 worth of items.
Security guard John Ray Hablado of 7-Eleven on E. Lopez Street, Barangay Montinola, Jaro caught her at around 7:26 p.m. on Tuesday.
Police said the following items – all worth P1,052 – were seized from Gamboa:
* a Bench b8 perfume
* a Her Bench So In Love perfume
* two Penshoppe Blown Away perfumes
* two Penshoppe Aqua Bene perfumes
* two Penshoppe Graffti Series perfumes
* two Dream White anti-aging soaps
Gamboa placed these items in her shoulder bag and exited the convenience store without paying for them, Hablado told the police.
