ILOILO City – He was listed as the No. 2 most wanted person in the La Paz police station.
Robert Parreño was caught around 2:49 p.m. on Saturday in Barangay Monfort North, Dumangas, Iloilo, a police report showed.
Parreño was nabbed on the strength of an arrest warrant issued by Judge Ma. Yolanda Panaguiton-Gavino of the Regional Trial Court Branch 34 in relation to a murder charge he faces.
The suspect had been hiding from the police for two years, the report said.
Parreño was detained in the La Paz police station lockup cell.
No bail bond was recommended for his temporary liberty./PN
