ILOILO City – Police have been hunting down Jason Mapa since 2009.

On Sunday night they finally arrested the 39-year-old alleged drug offender in Barangay Bolong Este, Santa Barbara, Iloilo.

Mapa, a resident of the same village, ranked No. 9 among most wanted persons in La Paz district. He was detained at the La Paz police station.

Officers served Mapa, who was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday an arrest warrant issued by Regional Trial Court Branch 25 Judge Evelyn Salao./PN
