ILOILO City – Police arrested a laborer for hitting a man on the head in Barangay Taft North, Mandurriao district.
The 51-year-old resident Roger Barrientos was tagged as the suspect, a police report showed.
According to police investigators, Barrientos and 34-year-old Eric Salido of Barangay Calumpang, Molo district have a heated argument on Sept. 20.
This prompted Barrientos to hit Salido with a hard object on the head, police said.
Salido sustained a head injury and was brought to the Western Visayas Medical Center in Mandurriao for treatment.
Barrientos, meanwhile, was detained in the lockup cell of the Mandurriao police station./PN
