ILOILO City – A 22-year-old laborer was nabbed in Barangay Poblacion 2, Hamtic, Antique, a police report showed.
Lorence Varona of Barangay Ingwan-Batangan, Hamtic faces a charge for rape by sexual assault, the report added.
Varona was caught on the strength of an arrest warrant around 7 p.m. on Wednesday.
He was detained in the Hamtic police station custodial facility.
The court recommended a P120,000 bail bond for his temporary liberty./PN
