BACOLOD City – An 18-year-old lad was believed to have drowned in a river in Barangay Napoles, Bago City, Negros Occidental.
Rey Jaro Besin was a resident of Barangay DSB, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental, a police report showed.
His body was found floating in the river around 12:30 p.m. on Monday, the report added.
Besin was rushed to Bago City Hospital where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”
Officers of the Bago City police station have yet to rule out foul play in the incident./ PN
