BACOLOD City – A boy was found dead in a river in Sitio Overflow, Barangay Hilamonan, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental on April 8.
Norma Guillermo, the mother, told the Kabankalan City police her son had gone to swim around 8 a.m. with a friend, without her knowledge.
She went out to look for him a few hours after and found him already floating in the river.
The boy was rushed to the Lorenzo Zayco District Hospital where attending physician Dr. Scott Lester Faldas declared the former “dead on arrival”.
