ILOILO – Around P11 million worth of damage was recorded after a fire ravaged a poultry farm in Barangay Quiling, Lambunao town around 1 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23.
Senior Fire Office 1 Michael Rey Bacaling of the Lambunao Fire Station said the farm was owned by Candelaria Legayda.
According to one of the workers, the fire originated at the ceiling of the poultry .
Bacaling said the fire, which was “electrical in nature,” reached the third alarm.
He added that no chicks were burned. The farm harvested day-old chicks days ago./PN
