LAUA-AN, Antique – Three business establishments were charred in a conflagration noon time of Oct. 12 at the public market here.
The fire started at 11:57 a.m. burning the Samillano Meat Shop, Rhimzy Batchoyan and an inoperational establishment.
Fire responders here and from the neighboring towns of Bugasong and Barbaza helped one another stop the fire.
A fire-out was declared at around 12:39 p.m.
The 46-year-old Eliseo Samillano reportedly incurred first and second degree burns on his face and other parts of the body.
The damage to property was estimated to be around P780,000.
An investigation was launched to determine the fire’s cause./PN
