VALDERRAMA, Antique – The local government unit (LGU) of Valderrama, Antique is under the assessment of the Regional Assessment Team (RAT) of the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) in Region 6 for the 2022 Seal of Good Local Governance (SGLG).
RAT is assesing the LGU accomplishments in the 10 governance areas under Republic Act No. 11292, also known as the SGLG Act.
The assessment process includes review and validation of documentary requirements, on-site visits, and interviews with key officers.
The team consists of Ms. Ruth Leda Alagban, LGOO VII, Mr. Whel Frank Santias, LGOO II Provincial Focal Person, and Ms. Hilgen Lavega, CSO Representative.
“A government or leadership that does not perform does not deserve its name,” according to Mayor Mary Joyce Monterona Roquero.
Mayor Roquero along with all the LGU Valderrama heads and staff express gratitude to the RAT validators for sharing their insights and expertise.
