CAPIZ – The Liga ng mga Barangay in Capiz province recently elected its new set of officers.
Hon. Nico A. Yap of Ivisan was unanimously voted as the new chapter president.
Hon. Ramil D. Malapajo from Maayon town was chosen as the vice president, with Hon. Roberto Ross E. Roldan as the auditor.
The Board of Directors includes:
* Hon. Jose Bidiones Jr.
* Hon. Ignacia H. Santacera
* Hon. Vilma V. Alfaro
* Hon. Edwin Marquez
* Hon. Genesis D. Dela Cruz
* Hon. Ferdinand Bacanto
* Hon. Rene N. Palomo
* Hon. Gilbert F. Derramas
Following their proclamations, the newly elected officials took their oaths of office, with Gov. Fredenil H. Castro administering.
The election of these officials marks an important milestone for the Liga ng mga Barangay-Capiz Chapter, and their commitment to serving the interests and concerns of the barangays is expected to bring about positive developments and progress for the community./PN
