BACOLOD City – A man was killed after he was struck by lightning in Barangay Cabatangan, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.
The 52-year-old resident Carmelito Garzon sustained body injuries, a police report showed.
Carmelito’s wife Nenita said her husband was doing carpentry work at their house when the incident happened around 2 p.m. on July 27.
Carmelito was rushed to the Teresita Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City, Negros Occidental where the attending physician declared him “dead on arrival.”/PN
