
BACOLOD City – Victorias City’s Jada Biaxyl Celeste was crowned Lin-ay sang Negros 2025, besting 26 other candidates during the grand coronation night on March 28.
Held at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Barangay Mansilingan here, the beauty pageant was part of the celebration of the 29th Panaad sa Negros Festival.
This is a back-to-back win for Victorias City as Celeste inherited the crown from last year’s winner Kyla Rose Romarate who also hails from the city.
Celeste received an P80,000 cash prize, one-year 100 percent scholarship plus monthly stipend with book and uniform allowance, and other worth of services prizes.
She also bagged two major awards – Best in Swimwear and Best in Evening Gown.
Lin-ay sang Ilog’s Maxine Martin was the first runner-up and Lin-ay sang Manapla’s Julianah Cassandra Makilan was the second runner-up.
Martin and Makilan received cash prizes of P50,000 and P40,000, respectively.
