BACOLOD City – Suspected shabu weighing about seven grams was confiscated in a sting operation in Sitio Paradise, Barangay Rizal, Silay City, Negros Occidental.
The operation led to the arrest of live-in partners Justin Lobaton, 19, and Mecaila Robles, 21 – both residents of the said village.
Policemen of Silay City staged the entrapment operation at around 12:15 p.m. on Sept. 29, leading to the seizure of six sachets of shabu valued at around P47,600.
The P3,500 marked money was also recovered from the suspects, who were detained and charged with violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
