BACOLOD City – Police arrested two suspects in a drug sting in Barangay Recreo, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental.
Six sachets of suspected shabu valued at around P12,000 were seized from live-in partners 40-year-old Josue Brondo Jr. and 31-year-old Dawn Marie Onelas, a police report showed.
Brondo and Onelas were nabbed after they sold suspected illegal drugs to an undercover officer for P500 around 9 p.m. on Sunday, the report added.
Cash amounting to P380 was also recovered from their possession, police said.
The suspects were detained in the Pontevedra municipal police station.
Charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them./PN
