ROXAS City – Three persons were arrested in a drug bust operation conducted by the Roxas City police station around 1 p.m on Monday in Barangay Dayao, here.
Ramilo Buenafe, 40, and his live in partner, Ervilisa Baluyot, 50, together with Jerson De la Cruz, 32 – all residents – were apprehended for allegedly selling “shabu” to an undercover police officer who served as poseur buyer.
According to Senior Police Officer 1 Ramil Arcangeles, De la Cruz was a former drug surrenderee during the city’s Oplan Tokhang crusade.
Recovered from the suspects were P1,000 buy-bust money and five sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P45,500.

The suspects face charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002./PN
